Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using NuvixPlayer (hereinafter, "the Application"), you agree to all the terms set out herein.

1. Nature of the Service

NuvixPlayer is exclusively a media player. The Application does NOT provide, distribute, host, index, or facilitate access to any audiovisual content.

The Application lets users play their own content sources (M3U/M3U8 playlists, stream URLs or servers accessed with a username and password) that the user configures voluntarily and under their sole responsibility.

2. Privacy and Data Protection

NuvixPlayer only collects the data it needs to work. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

Data we store:

• Email address — to manage your account and send service emails (sign-in codes, verification, password reset).
• Profiles — name and avatar of each profile in your account.
• Playlists you add — name, address and, for servers, the username and password you enter, so the Application can sync them across your devices.
• Favorites and playback progress — the identifier the playlist gives each item, the season and episode when applicable and the position where you stopped, to provide "Continue watching" on all your devices.
• Devices — name and type of each device where you sign in, to apply your plan's device limit.
• Subscription status — plan, store and renewal date.

Data is stored on secure servers and always transmitted encrypted (TLS/HTTPS). Only you and the staff strictly necessary to operate the service can access it. We never see, record or store the videos you play: playback goes directly from your source to your device.

Service providers that process data on our behalf:

• Google Cloud — servers that host the service.
• Brevo — sending service emails.
• Google — sign-in with Google, if you choose it.
• Stripe, Google Play, App Store and RevenueCat — payment and management of Premium subscriptions. We never receive or store your card details.
• PostHog (United States) — anonymous usage analytics (for example, which screens and features are used), without titles, searches or the content of your playlists.
• Sentry — error reports to fix crashes, with technical information about the device and the Application.
• FormSubmit — delivery of the messages you send through the contact form.

Data we DO NOT collect:

• Precise location
• The videos you play or their images
• What you type in the search box
• Card or bank details

You can ask us for a copy of your data, or for its correction or deletion, at any time by writing to the address below. Account deletion can also be requested from the Application or from the "Delete account" page on this site.

3. Content and User Responsibility

The user is solely responsible for the content they add and play through the Application, including M3U/M3U8 playlists, stream URLs, servers accessed with a username and password and any other external content source.

The user declares and guarantees that they have all necessary rights, licenses, and authorizations to access and play the content configured in the Application, and that their use complies strictly with current intellectual property and copyright legislation.

The Application developer shall not be liable for any damages, penalties, or legal responsibilities arising from misuse of the Application or access to illegal content by the user.

4. Premium Subscription and Acceptable Use

Subscribing to premium implies express acceptance of these acceptable use conditions.

The developer reserves the right to unilaterally and immediately suspend or cancel the user's subscription, without prior notice or refund, in the following cases:

• Fraudulent, abusive use, or use contrary to these terms
• Sharing credentials with unauthorized third parties
• Unauthorized commercial use of the Application
• Any conduct constituting misuse of the subscription or Application

Termination of the subscription for the above reasons shall not entitle the user to any indemnification, refund, or compensation.

5. Modifications

The developer reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Application after communication of changes implies acceptance of the new terms.
